This USAID‑funded URBAN WASH report evaluates water safety and quality among informal water vendors serving low‑income communities in Nairobi, Kenya. Using household surveys, vendor focus groups, key informant interviews and water testing, it documents market share, chlorine compliance gaps and vendor challenges, and offers recommendations for training, chlorination, monitoring and certification to improve water safety.
